life is good. so good!

(Seattle, WA)

Although my apartment is so warm because I don't want to give in and turn on the AC...

But like I said, life has been so good. I got to visit two of my cousins who live in Victoria, BC and Vancouver who I haven't seen for about 10 years. My cousin, Julie from Victoria is a French teacher and my cousin, Jen from Vancouver travels to Ethiopia to work with a local NGO. Needless to say, I had a lot in common with both and we had a great time. I also visited by Seattle, which I loved. So much great food and art.

Also, I started a job that I absolutely adore and get to work with some truly amazing people.

I think it's going to be a great summer.

Off to watch 30 Rock!
Oh and I'll try to update more often than every two months...

I know the date says March, but it's really 04/10/10...

I've not not a good job of updating lately... I'll try to do better.

Life has gotten busy. I'm really enjoying collaborating with other artists and am trying to figure out more ways to do it. So far this is all I've got: http://theaprilproject.tumblr.com/ but I like it. I want this to be a year of collaboration. I'm not exactly sure what that means yet, but I'm thinking it means doing a lot more work with other artists. So I guess I just have to find some more who are willing.

It's getting beautiful outside and the last bits of seasonal affective disorder are fading away. Yay!

I don't have too much to update about... Lately I've just been taking a lot-o-pictures (I'm averaging 100 a day) and watching lots of The Ricky Gervais show... Life is good!

it's friday night

and i may or may not have done some of my homework while listening to cat power and drinking michelob lime and cactus (so much better than bud light lime it's not even funny) and now i may or may not be watching some bad teenage-melodrama tv and considering going to bed soon but eating some fruit snacks first...

Maybe we're only good at brief encounters, walking around European cities in warm climates.

"I guess when you're young you just believe there will be many people with whom you connect with. Later in life you realize it only happens a few times."

My favorite movie.
It brings back so many memories
that don't feel as far off as they should.

I love finding things

I swear to you I've looked for this in Borders I don't know how many times before I found it there Sunday (and for $7.99!)

I'm at the library working on a journalism project and am putting of walking home because outside it is dark, cold, and I had a dream about a cannibal rapist last night. Ironically, he turned out to be the plastic surgeon of Heidi Montag... that explains a lot, hmm?
