NYE & stuff

I know it's not Christmas anymore, but this is probably my favorite ornament and I spotted it today (on basically the back of the tree because I don't get to decorate it.) It's a Santa that I got at a craft store in Uganda last December.

So I was going to compile a list of my favorite songs, movies, books, etc. of 2009. Good idea right? Then I realized that I think I may have only made it to the movie theater 5 times this past year.. and none of the movies changed my life (even remotely.) I also realized that I don't read new books that often. When I can squeeze in some non-required reading, it's usually from the stack of books that I've bought over the years with hopes that someday I'd be able to read them. So all I have are my list of the 5 best songs of 2009 (as far as I'm concerned.)

My new year's eve is going to be spent in sweatpants watching movies with Sam and eating good food. AWESOME! I think we are even going to go to my all time favorite place to pick up some snacks... Whole Foods.
